A journal of discovering the power of self-seeing
You will find different articles about different topics, musings and contemplations by me – Swantje aka Swanny. My style of writing intends to be human, honest, and raw. Structure and rhythm I am afraid will be lacking. Lengths will vary, sometimes a brief glimpse of insight other times an expansive view into my mind and heart. High frequency, low frequency - the energy flow will tell me.
I don’t have a degree in psychology or social studies. I do have a degree in Marketing and conduct market research. Years in leadership positions have helped me understand and see people. Listening to consumers in focus groups share their needs, wants and fears has enabled me to see.
I do have my own journey, my greatest teacher. A human living in this beautiful world. I experience my emotions. I experience my own transformation. Each day I learn more. Let go more. See more. Trust more. Trust in the Universe to guide me. Trust that all is as it is. With each word written I lean into sharing more.
With time together with Frankie I like to build a community. Create a space to gather to be. Being I believe it the essence of doing. Being is what I thrive for every day, but it is hard. As humans, as society we see value in doing. We focus on changing. On growing. On creating.
And yet for myself the greatest shift happens when I cultivate self-love, self-acceptance, self-seeing. As I am today, right now right here. But this state still eludes me often. Therein lies the adventure.
I imagine a world where we all practice self-seeing and with that seeing others. But in all honesty, I am not here to preach, to persuade or to motivate. I am here to share, to be and to hold space.
